This page measures the device in your hand. The Node benchmark measures the synthesis core; what decides the outcome is whether the browser main thread still gets to run while the ensemble is loud — because that thread is what schedules the next note.
Sound check
If you hear nothing, these two buttons separate the causes. The reference tone is a plain oscillator wired straight to the output, bypassing this project’s synthesis entirely. If the tone sounds and the angklung does not, the fault is in the computed sound. If neither sounds, the fault is in the audio context, the output device, or a silent switch.
