Selapanan and slametan
Selapanan recurs every 35 days from a weton. Slametan dates are counted from the day of death. Both are date calculation, and nothing more.
Slametan reckoning
The counting rule: the day of death counts as the first day. Nelung dina means the third day, not three days later. Counting practice varies by region; the rule used here is stated openly so it can be checked.
