The Post-Mongol Central Asian Khanates

Eleven khanates ruling by descent from Chinggis Khan or from Timur, scattered from the Volga to the Tarim basin across four centuries after the classic khanates broke up - the Golden Horde's own steppe and river fragments, the Uzbek successor states of Transoxiana, and the last Mongol confederation still independent of a settled empire on either side of it.

The line below is a time axis. Position on it is date, so concurrency is visible: concurrent polities sit side by side rather than in sequence.

10 sourced edges run between this region and another, to Golden Horde, Ottoman Empire, Moghulistan and Timurid Empire. Those are not drawn on this line — a thread that crossed regions would assert a sequence nobody cited — but they are on each polity’s own page.
